As I reflect on today's crisisses in America, I often wonder how this country was founded and the crisisses were
fought during those times. Yet, I was always come back to the same conclusion time and time again. These crisisses
were settled from the blood men who believed in one dream and one dream only --- all men should live in freedom. Freedom
of being able to breathe without the fear of possibly losing his life for it. Freedom of being able what is honestly
fair and extremely just for all men. Freedom of being able to be liberated from all unnecessary stresses other
countries have tried to place on America and Americans. But there is one assiociation of people in this country we as
Americans take for granted always being there for us either during a conflict or peacetime. This is once crisis can
be repaired by one and all American(s) with a simple two-word phrase.
Have you actually thought our country would not become one of the most powerful nations in the world without the
bloodshed of people who believed/believes in that dream and so desperately tried/trying to keep that dream alive? Yet,
as Americans, we purposely forget the true founding of our country and take for granted this one group will always being there
for each and every one of us without stopping to tell this firm this one magical phrase they are so longingly want to hear
not during a crisis but on a continuous basis. But once again, we cannot say this magical phrase for we fear we may
choke to death in doing so and our lives will be lost forever without truly stopping to ponder how many lives have been lost
forever without truly hearing this magical phrase just once in his/her life. They are lying there with the knowledge
of their lives slowly being taken from them if they are/have dying/died in vain of a nation of the uncaring and unappreciative
citizens by keeping this dream alive. Yet, we can use this magical phrase in our daily activites without telling it
to the very ones who truly need to hear it the most.
There is another magical phrase that also holds the honest definition of that dream, but it is another phrase Americans
cannot truly grasp its actual meaning until this great nation is under another crisis then they can honestly grasp its definition
when lives are being lost during that conflict. The phrase: freedom isn't free. A simple phrase with meaning
that no words can justifiably define. It has been expressed so many times in so many ways; yet, Americans still cannot
grasp the feeling it is truly trying to convey to all untill many more lives are being lost to this dream without stopping
to think one day this dream could meet its end for once and for all. No longer this magical second phrase be true nor
the concept be alive and kicking for one simple reason. Americans can state this magical phrase on a daily basis for
minor things, but Americans are unable to say this magical phrase to the ones who so despaerately need to hear the most
since it is the two hardest words in the English language to convey with an honest, heartfelt meaning behind those words.
At the same time, Americans have placed aside the holidays not only dedicated to the birth of this dream but also the
holidays honoring the men and women of all aspects of this group as being holidays days off from work or school, partying,
drinking, and saying the hell with them. It is time for a change in America and Americans' hearts to honestly honoring
these men and women of this association with true significance and eviction of this magical phrase so Americans will still
want to voluntarily join this group without having to stop and wonder if he/she will ever hear this magical phrase with conviction
and sincerity or if my membership in this organization will be a waste of my time and/or my life. Until this magical
phrase can truthfully be stated with such honesty and conviction, this corporation could go bankrupt and the way of life as
we know it to be this day will also faultier. The very stresses and every drop of blood that were fought against those
crisisses and bled for that dream would be nothing more than a past memory to drive the lane with wonderment and prosperity
of what went wrong and why our nation faltered under those stresses once again.
There are some who joined this organization for selfiliness monetary reasons, but there are those who join this association
do so for the love he/she has for this country so the dream and concept this country was founded on will remain steadfast
and well for future generations to have, to hold, and to keep alive. These members are the ones who are truly seeking
to hear this magical phrase so he/she will have the understanding that she/she did join this associate for the right
reason(s). That Americans truly do care about them and about the dream and concept this country was founded on.
After all, if was not for the members of this corporation, the dream would have died many deaths over the centuries to the
point we would have ended up under a vile, corrupted governing body that would not allow is to have our freedoms, our Bill
of Rights, and the lives we so freely live today.
The organization is the United States military. The magical phrase: thank you. If you place the two
together, you will get one powerful sentence. The one sentence --- five small words --- that will mean more to them
than all the care packages and letters they may receive during deployment. For they will know, Americans do actually
and honestly care about them not only during a crisis but on a daily basis as well. To them, these five little words
are the only words they truly need to hear during their time in one of the most powerful forces on this planet so this dream
will remain alive along with our freedoms, our Bill of Rights, and the lives we are truly enjoying living today will stay
in tact forever. The poweful sentence: thank you, United States military.
Without this gratitude, the men and women of our great military may have the feeling(s) their serive time is being wasted
on a nation of ingrates who do not give a damn about our military only themselves. The ongoing crisis of being less
appreciative will continue, and before long, the dream will be its grave forever. The blood shed for this dream would
have been shed for nothing. In return, our great nation would end up in a governing body of hell. The freedoms
we hold so dearly would be no more. The lives we are living today would become nonexistence. All due in part,
we have forgotten how to say thank you to most powerful corporation of them --- our military.
It is time for this crisis to end in using this magical phrase in thoughtless ways of our daily lives, but start using
this phrase in more convicting ways to the one who truly need to hear it the most. As an American who comes from a very
long family history of military service, and as a student of American history, I am begging you, America, to take time today
to tell a military member or a family who lost loved ones in conflicts and wars this magical phrase. It would only
take less than five minutes of your day; yet, it would mean so much to them. After all, an extremely, meaning smile
would come from that person or family would not only brighten your day, but it would place a smile in the person's/familiy's
heart and yours knowing you took the time to say something the person/the family long to hear from at least one caring
and apprecitive American and the American could/was you.
As I conclude this essay, I would love to leave you with one thought before I place my sincere gratitude unto the men
and women of the military. A small amount of kindness can go a long way, but a very sincere thank you can move
mountains. Sometimes moving mountains take a great deal more work than showing a small amount of kindness. In
the end, it was work well done. With this said, and from the bottom of my heart and soul, thank you for keeping this
dream alive by desiring to volunteer your lives so we as Americans still can have our freedoms, our Bill of Rights, and live
the lives we are living today. Without you, our nation would not be the nation I so dearly love and can live in freely.
